Jason is often referred to as Colorado's Top Bowler and has been now for many years. Only a select few even challenge for that spot. It takes a great deal of work to get to his level and he sure has put in the time. Working on every aspect of the game, Jason has become the elite of the elite. Jason is one of the most well liked and well spoke of top players in Colorado and for good reason. He knows his game inside and out, outside and in. He understands equipment and lane play, like few others. He has a wealth of knowledge and is certainly confident in his abilities. This all being said it is his humility and genuine nature that speaks even louder than his game. Not only is he very humble but approachable, not looking down on anyone and is often the initiator of conversation. He represents the game of bowling in a great light!
If you have never seen him in competition you are depriving yourself of a great treat. He works through his equipment with a plan in place and great purpose, to create the best look possible. He is one of the smoothest, most patient players you will ever see. He seems to bowl in slow motion, his length certainly exsagurates that and will help you to bring that more into yourown game. On the lanes he appears to be well over 7 foot tall.
Jason's extention down lane will surly jump out at you. Ron Haffman, who was recently inducted into the Denver Bowling Hall of Fame and was next to unbeatable, might be a close 2nd to Jason ability to shorten a lane. As soon as Jason turns 50 he to will likely be inducted to both the Denver and Colorado Bowling Hall of Fame. You can see Jason in person competing localy in the CSBT (Colorado Scratch Bowlers Tour). Take the time to see him in person, you will learn so much and understand why others speak so well of him.
Jason is a ball rep for STORM and is listed on their amateur page, but there is nothing amateur about his talent, nor his game! A complete professional, through and through!

Jamie Coy says of Jason
"Jason is very kind and humble and full of great character. In all my years, not once have I heard anyone speak ill of him, which is quite remarkable. As for his bowling, he is fun to watch! He exstends the ball down lane better than any bowler I have ever seen and can play anywhere on the lane. Watching him work through his equipment during practice for a tournament is a treat in itself. He has a great understanding and knowledge with his equipment as he matches up with the lane. He is very patient with the swing and with his feet, a pleasure to watch. He carries himself with great class. He loves the game and is willing to share his knowledge with others, which is so needed in our game. I could watch him perform all day and twice on Sundays! Jason Duran in short, is a class act."
